Peugeot Invest: Spie share placement completed

(CercleFinance.com) - Peugeot Invest reports that it has sold 4.
25 million Spie shares, representing around 2.5% of the multi-technical services group's capital at the end of 2024, at a price of 38.8 euros per share, i.e. sale proceeds equivalent to around 164.9 million euros.

'Since we took a stake in the company in 2017, the Spie group's development has been remarkable. Asset rotation is part of our strategy, and it seemed appropriate to crystallize part of our capital gain', explains Jean-Charles Douin, Managing Director of Peugeot Invest.

On completion of the placement, Peugeot Invest will hold around 2.5% of Spie's capital, and will thus remain exposed to future value creation. It will no longer sit on the Board of Directors and undertakes not to sell any shares for 180 days after settlement-delivery of the placement.
