BioMérieux: 510(k) clearance for Vitek Compact Pro

(CercleFinance.com) - bioMérieux has announced that it has received 510(k) clearance from the US FDA for Vitek Compact Pro, its microbial identification and antibiotic susceptibility testing system.
Its commercial launch is scheduled in selected countries, before a worldwide roll-out from Q2 2025.

This innovative system can be used in clinical laboratories to help diagnose infectious diseases and combat antibiotic resistance, as well as in industrial laboratories to identify contamination and guarantee consumer safety.
