Bolloré: EBITA close to breakeven in 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Bolloré has announced net income (group share) of E1.
82bn for 2024, compared with E268m the previous year, including significant changes in the group's consolidation scope, while adjusted operating income (EBITA) reached a token E1m, compared with E61m in 2023.

EBITA for the communications division rose 23% to E207m, driven by the contribution of UMG (+33%), while Bolloré Energy's contribution increased by 2% to E45m, while its industry division's EBITA deterated to -E179m.

At E3.13bn, sales were down 4% LFL, with a 6% contraction for Bolloré Energy in a general context of falling prices, while the industry division posted an 11% rise.

A proposal will be made to the AGM to distribute a dividend of E0.08 per share (including E0.02 interim dividend already paid in September) for 2024, up 14%. The stock will go ex-dividend on 10 June, with payment (in cash only) on 12 June.
