Thales : has signed a contract with Malaysia Airlines
(CercleFinance.com) - The group has signed a contract with Malaysia Airlines to supply spare parts and repair services for the airline's entire fleet of 20 A330neo aircraft.
Thales will manage all repairs, as well as the availability and replenishment of spare parts. Stocks are held at Malaysia Airlines' main hub and Thales' Asia-Pacific repair hub in Singapore.
"This maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) contract with Thales guarantees Malaysia Airlines high-quality, high-end repair services to support the fleet's operational efficiency and improve maintenance profitability," says the group.
Thales has developed a comprehensive range of maintenance and spare parts management services, such as repair by the hour (RBTH) and asset availability programs aimed at providing customers with a cost-effective service.
