Assa Abloy: acquisition in Germany

(CercleFinance.com) - Assa Abloy has completed the acquisition of Gesellschaft für Sicherheitstechnik (GFS), a German player in emergency exit security solutions for commercial, industrial and public buildings.


GFS was founded in 1977 and has around twenty employees. The head office and factory are located in Hamburg, Germany.

Sales for 2024 amounted to around E12m (approx. 130m SEK) with a strong EBIT margin. The acquisition will be EPS accretive from the outset.

This acquisition is in line with our strategy of adding complementary products and solutions to our core business, it said.
