Bureau Veritas: acquires GeoAssay

(CercleFinance.com) - Bureau Veritas announces the acquisition of GeoAssay, a company specialising in the mechanical preparation and analysis of mineral samples for copper, a mineral essential to the large-scale energy transition, where Chile is the world's leading producer.


Operating three state-of-the-art, fully automated laboratories strategically located in Chile, GeoAssay employs 264 people with technical profiles, in-depth knowledge of robotics and automation, and experience in the mining industry.

Thanks to this acquisition, Bureau Veritas will offer enhanced services to its existing clients in the mining industry and copper in particular. It will also attract new customers with high standards for mineral analysis.
