Thales: Deutsche Bank raises target price
(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday Deutsche Bank raised its target price for Thales shares from E182 to E265, while renewing its buy recommendation on them.
Although the analyst says he is still waiting for more details concerning the budgets to be released by European governments in the defense sector, he believes that it is now clear that the visibility of Thales' business now exceeds the ten years that the group mentioned at its last investor meeting.
In his opinion, the prospect of 6% to 7% sales growth in the defense businesses should also be exceeded, leading him to raise his forecasts for 2027-2028 and the medium term.
The broker explains that his upgrade also takes into account the sector's recent stock market appreciation.
