Voltalia: Stifel still a buyer, confirms TP
(CercleFinance.com) - Stifel confirms its buy recommendation on the share, leaving its target price unchanged at E11.
The analyst points out that the renewable energy producer has, as expected, recorded a fall in EBITDA and a net loss in 2024 due to a reduction in production in Brazil and exceptional asset write-downs.
In today's report, the analysts note that Voltalia is expected to return to profitability this year, but that volumes and results will continue to be affected by production cutbacks in Brazil, which are increasingly seen as a recurring and structural problem.
While we still have to wait for the Group's new plans and objectives to be unveiled, the results are still very encouraging, the analyst adds.
Voltalia remains particularly undervalued, in our view, and still has a strong growth profile. The company has unique expertise and a very good reputation in its sector, as demonstrated by the recent prestigious contracts it has signed, Stifel concludes.
