Enel: fairly stable after annual results
(CercleFinance.com) - Enel shares are down less than 1% in Milan today, the day after the Italian energy group published its 2024 results, including ordinary net profit up 9.
6% to E7.13bn and ordinary EBITDA up 3.8% to E22.8bn. This variation is explained by the positive contribution of integrated activities, with growth in Spain, the United States and Latin America more than offsetting the slight decline in Italy, it explains. At over E78.9bn, sales nevertheless contracted by 17.4%, as a result of lower volumes of thermal energy produced and lower quantities of electricity and gas sold on end-user markets. The total dividend proposed by Enel for 2024 amounts to E0.47 per share (of which E0.215 had already been paid as an interim dividend in January 2025), representing an increase of around 9% on that recorded for 2023.
