Dollar General: Q4 EPS more than halved
(CercleFinance.com) - For Q4 (ended January), the retail group Dollar General reported EPS that is down 52.
5% to $0.87, despite sales which rose 4.5% to $10.3bn (+1.2% LFL).
We believe that our back-to-basics approach is resonating with customers, as evidenced by higher customer satisfaction scores and healthy market share gains, CEO Todd Vasos says.
Dollar General posted FY EPS that is down 32.3% to $5.11, on sales that are up 5%. Target ranges for the year ahead are $5.10-$5.80 and 3.4%-4.4% respectively.
