Airbus: New York Police Department orders four helicopters

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that the New York State Police has ordered an Airbus H160 and three H145 helicopters, becoming the first law enforcement agency in the US to add an H160 to its fleet.


These additions to the agency's fleet will bring a major improvement in terms of safety and comfort, and New Yorkers will benefit from the helicopters' reduced noise levels, Airbus Helicopters said.

Airbus claims that the H160 is one of the most technologically advanced helicopters in the world. It has been designed and built to offer the highest levels of operational safety and comfort.

In addition, the helicopter's CO2 emissions are also 'the lowest among its competitors', the aircraft manufacturer says.
