Renault: orders now open for the new Mégane E-Tech
(CercleFinance.com) - Renault announces that its new Mégane E-Tech electric range, its 100% electric sedan assembled in Douai, is now available to order, enhanced by an Esprit Alpine version and various technological evolutions.
The One Pedal feature offers a fifth level of regenerative braking for smoother driving and better energy recovery.
This technology, developed by Ampere, will be deployed on R5, Scenic E-Tech electric and R4, and can be retrofitted to models produced after March 2024.
In addition, Mégane E-Tech electric is now equipped with an 11 kW bi-directional charger as standard, with a 22 kW option, enabling energy consumption to be optimized by feeding electricity back into the grid during peaks in demand.
Like Renault's entire range of electric passenger vehicles, the new Mégane E-Tech electric range, assembled in France, is eligible for the 2025 ecological bonus.
