Nokia: supports Canal+ Telecom in Guyana & Guadeloupe
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia today announced that Canal+ Telecom, a subsidiary of the Canal+ Group, will deploy its Lightspan and Altiplano solutions to support the transformation of its fiber optic network in French Guiana and Guadeloupe.
This deployment will enable the Canal+ Group to set up a scalable network, capable of meeting the growing demand for capacity, assures Nokia.
It will also contribute to increasing the automation of Canal+ Telecom's network operations and services.
Canal+ will deploy Nokia's Lightspan Mini Optical Line Terminal (OLT) solution to accelerate the rollout of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) services in French Caribbean territories.
According to Nokia, its Lightspan fiber solution will enable Canal+ to future-proof its network and upgrade seamlessly to 25G fiber optics as required.
