Maisons du Monde: net loss for 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Maisons du Monde reports net income of -115.
3 million euros for 2024 versus 8.8 million euros for the previous year, with an EBIT margin of 0.1% compared to 4.1% in 2023, heavily impacted by lower sales.

Sales stood at just over one billion euros, reflecting a 10.2% decline on a like-for-like basis (-11.2% overall), in a difficult context for the home and decoration sector, accentuated by unfavorable macroeconomic factors.

"We will capitalize on our 2024 achievements to further simplify our operating model, reduce our cost base and improve our cash flow generation potential", says CEO François-Melchior de Polignac.

"Thanks to these actions, we remain on track to achieve our objective of generating cumulative free cash flow in excess of 100 million euros over the 2024-2026 period, after having generated 15 million euros in 2024", he continues.
