Amoéba: extension of production capacity at Chassieu
(CercleFinance.com) - - Amoéba announces the extension of production capacity at its Chassieu site (Greater Lyon) to prepare for the commercialization of its biocontrol range 'AXPERA', as commercial negotiations progress.
Following a memorandum of understanding signed with Koppert at the end of 2024, and a positive opinion from EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) expected in January 2025, the company is investing €1.1 million to increase capacity and optimize its production process. In addition, it is studying three options for further capacity expansion: industrial investment at Chassieu, recourse to CDMO partners or shared production with Koppert.
