Diageo: Johnnie Walker launches Vault, or the art of blending
(CercleFinance.com) - Diageo has announced that Johnnie Walker, world leader in Scotch whisky, is to open a new chapter in the world of luxury spirits with the global launch of Johnnie Walker Vault, billed as the brand's most ambitious expression of the art of blending to date.
The Johnnie Walker Vault houses some 500 whiskies in rare casks personally selected and renewed by Dr Walker to showcase the very best of the 10 million scotch casks at his disposal. Johnnie Walker Vault will bring his unrivalled creativity and expertise to life through rare products, experiences and collaborations. In a new private blending experience, Dr Walker will personally create unique bespoke blends for a privileged few, hand-selecting significant expressions from the guest-only Johnnie Walker Vault physical space and transforming them into deeply layered blends.
