Nestlé: to beef up R&D capabilities in Singapore

(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé Research & Development (R&D) announces plans to strengthen local capabilities in Singapore with the support of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) to provide tasty, affordable and nutritious, yet sustainable food.


This will enable the company to drive innovation in key areas such as alternative proteins, including plant/dairy and plant-based hybrid products, sustainable packaging and digital transformation, Nestlé explains.

With continued support from the EDB and other Singapore government agencies, Nestlé R&D will also work with local Singapore companies, including start-ups and SMEs, to co-innovate, evaluate and adopt emerging technologies.
