Viridien: launches bond offering

(CercleFinance.com) - Viridien announces the launch of an offering of senior secured bonds due 2030 denominated in both dollars and euros, for a total nominal amount equivalent to about $950m.


The geosciences group has also signed commitments for a $125m revolving credit facility (RCF), secured by the same collateral as the bonds, on a super senior basis.

Viridien intends to use the net proceeds of the issue, together with its available cash, to discharge and cancel its secured junior bonds maturing in 2027 for a total of $447.4m and E578.6m.
