GM : Cadillac strengthens its position in Japan

(CercleFinance.com) - General Motors announces that Cadillac plans to launch a range of right-hand drive electric vehicles in Japan, including the LYRIQ, VISTIQ, OPTIQ and LYRIQ-V models.

Present in the country since 1915, the brand has until now been sold in left-hand drive.

This strategic change is designed to meet the expectations of the Japanese market. Cadillac is adopting an 'innovative' sales model that guarantees 'transparent pricing and optimized after-sales service', says the manufacturer.

Compatibility with the CHAdeMO charging infrastructure is also assured. With 13 dealerships and 24 service centers, Cadillac strengthens its position in Japan.
