UniCredit: acquires Aion Bank and Vodeno
(CercleFinance.com) - UniCredit announced on Friday that it has acquired Belgian digital bank Aion Bank and Polish payment processor Vodeno for a total of $376m.
The Italian financial giant says that these two transactions - which were initially announced in July - are part of its 'UniCredit Unlocked' strategy aimed at accelerating organic growth, penetrating new markets and winning new customers.
