Roche: launches new research center in Boston

(CercleFinance.com) - Roche has announced the launch of the Roche Genentech Innovation Center Boston at Harvard's corporate research campus in Allston.


The launch will further strengthen the long-standing partnership in areas such as disease biology, engineering and artificial intelligence/machine learning.

The Roche Genentech Innovation Center Boston will serve as Roche's research and development center for cardiovascular, renal and metabolic diseases (CVRM).

It will also support some of Roche and Genentech's efforts in AI and data science to accelerate drug discovery and development.

Roche's manament said that by investing in a new center of excellence in cardiology, nephrology and metabolism, as well as data science and AI capabilities at this strategic location, we aim to accelerate Roche's and Genentech's research efforts and leverage Boston's innovation ecosystem.'
