Apple: a new MacBook Air at a reduced price
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday, Apple presented its new MacBook Air laptop, as well as new versions of its Mac desktop computer and its in-house M3 chip.
Equipped with the M4 chip, the new MacBook is offered in a new sky-blue color at a reduced starting price of 1199 euros, 100 euros less than the previous generation, offering, according to the Apple company, 'unrivalled' value for money given its performance.
The new model, which comes in two sizes, 13" and 15", can be pre-ordered today for delivery from Wednesday March 12.
Apple also unveiled today the M3 Ultra, the most powerful chip it has ever designed, with 'extreme' performance offering up to 2.6 times the characteristics of the M1 Ultra chip.
The Californian group also presented its new Mac Studio, the most powerful Mac ever, available with the M4 Max chip or its new M3 Ultra chip.
The Mac will be available from 2,499 euros.
Apple shares were down 1.3% on Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange following these announcements, while the Nasdaq gained 0.2%.
