GTT: contract for the tanks of two new LNG carriers

(CercleFinance.com) - GTT announced last night that it had received an order from an Asian shipyard to design the tanks for two new LNG carriers for an Asian shipowner.


The engineering group says it has been commissioned to design the tanks for these two vessels, which will each have a total capacity of 174.000 m3.

Deliveries of the LNG carriers, which will incorporate its in-house NO96 family membrane containment technology, are scheduled for the second and third quarters of 2027.
