Stif: back on top, 'major' contract with Fluence

(CercleFinance.com) - The Stif share climbed back towards its all-time highs on Tuesday on the Paris Bourse, as the specialist in explosion protection for battery energy storage systems (BESS) won a 'major' contract with the American company Fluence.

After several months of collaboration, the French group reports that it has received its first 'significant' orders from Fluence, a major player in energy storage products and services.

The agreement covers the delivery of several thousand explosion panels, representing a market worth several million euros and expected to contribute as much to sales growth in 2025, according to Stif.

These explosion panels will be manufactured in Suzhou (China), the Group's production site, before being shipped to Fluence's operational sites in South-East Asia for integration into its energy storage equipment.

At the same time, the Group has decided to create a subsidiary in South Korea, also specialized in the BESS activity, in order to develop close relationships with players such as Samsung SDI, LG or SK-ON.

Following these announcements, the stock gained nearly 4% on Tuesday morning on the Paris Bourse, returning to close to its all-time highs set last month in the wake of the announcement of a 72% surge in sales by 2024.
