Precia Molen: 2024 sales below expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - Precia Molen lost ground on the Paris Bourse on Friday, following the publication of full-year 2024 sales below market expectations.

The specialist in industrial and commercial weighing said it recorded a slight 0.8% decline in sales for fiscal year 2024, with sales of 168.9 million euros.

According to Euroland analysts, the consensus was for sales of €171 million.

In Q4, the Group posted sales of €43.2 million, down slightly by 1.2% on the same period in 2023.

'Q4 slowed down again after an excellent Q3, due in particular to the continuing slowdown in France', Euroland analysts point out.

After a year of contrasts, Precia is approaching the 2025 financial year in a rather cautious tone", continues the brokerage firm, which reiterates its Buy recommendation and price target of 40 euros.

The group says it has seen normal order intake at the start of the year, although it notes "significant" pressure on prices in France, which it believes is likely to impact margins.

For the Group as a whole, excluding the disposal of the commercial weighing business, sales for 2025 should show moderate growth, it adds.

Following this publication, Precia Molen's share price fell by 1.8% mid-day on the Paris Bourse.
