SES: contract renewed with Germany's ProSiebenSat.1
(CercleFinance.com) - SES announced Friday that it has renewed for several years its contract with ProSiebenSat.
1 to broadcast the audiovisual group's programs in both Germany and Austria. Under the terms of the agreement, ProSiebenSat.1's channels will continue to be retransmitted in high definition using SES capacity at its orbital position at 19.2 degrees East. The satellite operator adds that ProSiebenSat.1 has also contracted additional satellite capacity to support the development of its Joyn video-on-demand platform, which has 7.6 million users and will be integrated into the HD+ TV application.
