Arkema: annual EBITDA up 2%.

(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema reports net income from recurring operations down 5.
7% to E616m for 2024, or E8.23 per share, with cash flow from recurring operations down 44.9% to E419m, while EBITDA rose 2.1% to E1.53bn.

The chemical group's sales were fairly flat (+0.3%) at E9.54bn in a macroeconomic context marked by generally weak demand. Volumes nevertheless rose by 2.4%, driven by specialty materials (+3.1%).

In line with its policy of progressive dividend growth, the Board of Directors has decided to propose a dividend increase of 2.9% to E3.60 per share for 2024 at the fothcoming AGM on 22 May, representing a payout ratio of 44%.

Arkema aims to achieve higher EBITDA of between E1.53bn and E1.67bn in 2025, depending on the evolution of macroeconomic conditions, and to significantly increase its current cash flow to around E600m.
