(CercleFinance.com) - E.
ON announces that it has achieved its earnings targets for 2024 in all business segments, demonstrating its leading role in Europe's energy transition with record investments.
E.ON recorded a Group adjusted EBITDA of E9bn for fiscal 2024. The results are thus at the top end of the forecast range of E8.8bn to E9bn and, as expected, below the previous year's high figure, which was characterised by positive exceptional effects (2023: E9.4bn).
Adjusted group net income of around E2.9bn (2023: E3.1bn) is within the forecast range of E2.8bn to E3bn.
Our investments of E7.5bn set a new benchmark for our financial strength and operating performance. Since our reorganization, we have never invested so much, E.ON CEO Leonhard Birnbaum said.
For 2025, E.ON expects a positive earnings trend with adjusted Group EBITDA of between E9.6bn and E9.8bn and adjusted group net income of between E2.85bn and E3.05bn.
By 2028, Group adjusted EBITDA should exceed E11.3bn and group adjusted net income should reach around E3.4bn.
