Repsol: downgraded by broker

(CercleFinance.com) - Repsol loses 3% in Madrid after UBS downgraded its recommendation on the stock from 'buy' to 'neutral', despite raising its target price from 13 to 13.
5 euros, on the day after the Spanish energy group's annual results.

'Most of the company's areas of concern have been addressed, and the risks weighing on the main macroeconomic factors are evolving downwards', judged the broker in reaction to this publication.

According to Oddo BHF, Repsol's share price seems to be the object of profit-taking by investors, following an 8.1% jump in the wake of the publication of these results, which "exceeded expectations, with a very positive surprise on share buybacks".

For its part, Morgan Stanley raised its recommendation to 'weight in line', with a price target raised to 13.4 euros, also welcoming the better-than-expected share buybacks, as well as a better-than-expected CFFO 2025 target.
