Plastivaloire: sales down 8% in 1st quarter
(CercleFinance.com) - Plastivaloire has announced sales of 162.
2 million euros for the first quarter 2024-25 (October to December 2024), down 7.9% (-7.2% at constant exchange rates), including declines of 5.9% in the automotive sector and 16.5% in the industrial sector. Over the period, the Group explains that, 'like the market as a whole, it was confronted with a slowdown in production rates on certain programs due to an uncertain economic climate and high inventory levels, particularly in North America'. In the coming quarters, it expects business to be affected by the difficulties in the global automotive market, but anticipates an acceleration in growth in parts sales, as well as a higher level of tooling billings than in the first quarter.
