Nestlé: recurring EPS down slightly in 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé reports recurring earnings per share down 0.
8% to CHF 4.77 for 2024 (+2.5% at constant exchange rates), with a recurring operating margin (UTOP margin) of 17.2%, down 10 basis points (stable at constant exchange rates).
At over 91.3 billion Swiss francs, the Swiss food group's sales fell by 1.8% in total terms, but its organic growth reached 2.2%, with real internal growth (RIG) of 0.8% and a price effect of 1.5%.
On the strength of free cash flow, which rose by 2.5% to 10.7 billion Swiss francs, the dividend per share proposed to shareholders by the Board of Directors rose by 1.7% to 3.05 francs.
Nestlé leaves unchanged its 2025 guidance of improved organic sales growth, strengthening as the year progresses, and a UTOP margin of 16% or more, thanks to its investments for growth.
