Haulotte: 17% decline in annual sales

(CercleFinance.com) - Haulotte reports sales for 2024 down 17% to €634 million, including a 37% drop to €126 million in the fourth quarter alone, 'penalized by a base effect and a greater-than-expected wait-and-see attitude on the part of some of its rental customers'.


"After a historic 2023, signs of a slowdown in the global aerial work platform market, first observed in Europe since the second half of 2023, spread to all areas of the world throughout 2024", it explains more broadly.

Despite these lower-than-expected sales, Haulotte expects a current operating margin (excluding foreign exchange gains and losses) close to 6.5% of sales in 2024, as a result of a recovery in gross margin and tight control of operating expenses.
