Gimv: capital increase fully subscribed to
(CercleFinance.com) - Gimv announced on Friday that its E247m capital increase, an operation designed to accelerate its growth, had been fully subscribed to.
The investment company indicated this morning that 82.5% of its shareholders had subscribed to the capital increase with preferential subscription rights (DPS), the first phase of its capital raising.
The subscriptions received represented the issue of some 5.9 million new shares out of the 7.15 million to be marketed as part of the transaction
The 1.25 million preferential rights not exercised were converted into an equivalent number of "scrips", which were offered for sale as part of a private placement aimed at Belgian and international institutional investors.
Following the completion of this fundraising, the stake of its reference shareholder WorxInvest will increase from 29.9% to 32.3%, Gimv states in a press release.

Its shares, which had been suspended on Euronext Brussels pending the results of the transaction, were down just 0.1% on Friday afternoon when they resumed trading.
