Guerbet: sales up 7.1% in 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Guerbet reported sales of €841.
1 million for fiscal year 2024, up 7.1% on the previous year (+8.6% at constant exchange rates).

On a like-for-like basis and at constant exchange rates, sales rose by 20.5% in the Americas, +10.1% in Asia and +1.1% in EMEA.

The year was marked by a contraction in sales in France (-11.8%) following the introduction, on March 1, 2024, of a new flow management system between dispatchers and practitioners, says the Group.

Nevertheless, Guerbet is "particularly confident" of achieving its profitability target for the year, and is even in a position to raise this target: the restated EBITDA margin is expected to be close to 14.9%.

At the same time, the Group anticipates a slightly negative free cash flow for 2024, due to payment delays in France associated with the new distribution channel. On the other hand, 'a significant improvement' in the net debt/EBITDA ratio is expected for the year just ended.
