Infineon: Stifel raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Stifel confirms its 'buy' recommendation on Infineon shares, with a target price raised from E35 to E38, after raising EPS estimates by 1% and 5% for FY 2025 and 2026 respectively, following the German chipmaker's quarterly results.


We still expect cyclical demand in the automotive and industrial end-markets to pick up in 2025, and Infineon itself sees sequential growth from a trough in Q1, the broker says.

Trading at around 16x 20285e EPS, Stifel considers Infineon's valuation attractive, given its long-term structural growth profile, and believes the stock should rally in 2025 once the macroeconomic picture improves.
