Vinci: 183 ME contract for a worksite in the port of Le Havre

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has announced that Haropa Port, France's leading port, has awarded the contract for the "La Chatière" river access to Port 2000 in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime) to a consortium comprising VINCI Construction (62%) - through its subsidiary Terélian (leader) - and DEME (38%) - a Belgian company in which VINCI holds a 12.
1% stake.

Worth 183 million euros, this project involves the construction of an 1,800-meter-long river channel, protected by a dike.

By 2027, it will link Port 2000 directly to the Seine basin, France's largest employment and consumption area.

Vinci specifies that direct river access to the port will decarbonize the logistics chain by securing and increasing the number of containers transported by river.
