Séché Environnement: signs contract with Nantes Métropole

(CercleFinance.com) - Séché Environnement has signed a new public service delegation contract with Nantes Métropole and 7 other local authorities to overhaul, operate and maintain the Prairie de Mauves waste treatment and recovery center.


Séché Environnement, via its subsidiary Alcea, currently treats part of the waste produced by the city's inhabitants at the Prairie de Mauves waste treatment and recovery center (CTVD).

For this contract, which comes into effect on April 1, 2025 for a 20-year period, Nantes Métropole has joined forces with 7 other local authorities as part of the alliance of territories.

The contract specifies the future site's capacity, set at 270,000T. 1.5 million inhabitants are concerned by this project.
