Comcast: dividend increase and share buybacks

(CercleFinance.com) - On the occasion of its quarterly publication, Comcast announced a 6.
5% increase in its dividend, to $1.32 per share on an annualized basis for 2025. An initial quarterly dividend of $0.33 per share will be paid from April 23.

In addition, Comcast's Board of Directors also approved a new $15 billion share repurchase authorization, effective January 31, which has no expiration date.

For the final quarter of 2024, Comcast reports adjusted EPS up 13.9% to $0.96 and adjusted EBITDA up 9.9% to $8.81 billion, on revenues up 2.1% to $31.9 billion.

"These results are attributable to a number of achievements", explains president and CEO Brian L Roberts, who points in particular to "5% growth in connectivity revenues in an extremely competitive environment".
