Manitou BF: 7% decline in annual sales
(CercleFinance.com) - Manitou BF reports that sales in 2024 were in line with expectations, down 7% to nearly 2.
66 billion euros, with a notable decline in Northern Europe, particularly in Germany and the Nordic countries. At 657 million euros, sales in the fourth quarter of 2024 were down 19% on the same period in 2023, which had reached a record level, creating an unfavorable base effect for the materials handling equipment supplier. Manitou confirms that it expects operating income before non-recurring items to exceed 7% of sales in 2024, and, on the strength of a machine order backlog of 1.08 billion euros at the end of 2024, forecasts stable sales in 2025 compared with last year.
