Vranken-Pommery: annual sales down more than 10%.
(CercleFinance.com) - The Vranken-Pommery Monopole wine group has announced a 10.
5% decline in sales to 302.9 million euros in 2024, including a 9.4% drop in Champagne sales to 263.2 million.
It points to a context marked by a significant drop in volumes sold on the Champagne market, as well as a reduction in harvest yields in all vineyards due to poor weather conditions.
However, Vranken-Pommery points out that a "more selective approach to distribution", particularly in the premium and international segments, has enabled it to improve the average price of its Champagne and offset part of the drop in volumes.
