Chevron: partnership to power data centers

1 and Chevron U.S.A. have announced a partnership to found a new company dedicated to developing 'reliable and scalable' energy solutions for data centers located in the U.S.
Chevron's press release reports that 'the Trump administration's initial actions lay a critical foundation for encouraging investment by leveraging America's energy abundance to strengthen its IA leadership'.
This joint development, in collaboration with GE Vernova aims to establish the first co-located multi-gigawatt scale power plant and data center during President Trump's second term.
The first projects, referred to as 'energy foundries' by the companies, are expected to use seven GE Vernova 7HA natural gas turbines manufactured in the USA, secured under a reservation agreement, with an accelerated timeline.
