Suez: agreement to acquire majority stake in Gruppo Ecosiste
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Gruppo Ecosistem, an independent company specialising in the treatment and recovery of industrial waste, in order to strengthen its presence in Italy, a strategic growth area for the group, and to support its international growth strategy.
Yves Rannou, Group Managing Director, points out that this operation will broaden the recycling and energy recovery solutions offered to Italian customers, supporting their ecological transition. Salvatore Mazzotta, Managing Director of Gruppo Ecosistem, recalls the company's progress into an environmental leader, while welcoming the synergies created with Suez.
