Spineway: growth slowed in 2nd half

(CercleFinance.com) - Spineway, a manufacturer of implants for the treatment of severe spinal pathologies, last night reported a slowdown in second-half growth, which was heavily punished on the stock market on Thursday.


The group, which designs and markets surgical instruments, generated annual sales of 12 million euros, representing organic growth of 14%, without perimeter effects.

However, analysts point out that the second half of the year was less dynamic, with growth of 6% compared with 20% in the first half, due to delays in Europe.

Spineway nevertheless states that revenue growth, combined with the full effect of cost-cutting measures, should help improve its operating performance in fiscal 2024.

Following this publication, the share price plunged by 17.5%, returning to its historic lows.
