(CercleFinance.com) - Altice: SFR large-scale deployment for French governmentAltice has announced that SFR Business has completed a major rollout in France with the modernisation of the French government's interministerial network (Réseau interministériel de l'État - RIE) and the interministerial digital department (Direction interministérielle du numérique - DINUMNL0011333752 ).


More than 9,000 sites have been deployed in 18 months, including in hard-to-reach areas, meeting the deadlines set for this strategic project operated by DINUM.

Launched in 2013, the RIE is a secure and resilient infrastructure, essential for the communications of almost 14,000 state sites.

This project includes more than 6,000 fiber optic interconnections and 1,100 4G routers, reinforcing the network's performance and security, SFR says.
