Apollo: EU approves acquisition of Barnes Group
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the acquisition of sole control of Barnes Group by Apollo Global Management in the USA.
The transaction mainly concerns the industrial and aerospace solutions markets. The Commission concluded that the notified operation would not give rise to competition concerns, given the limited combined market position of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction.
