Mauna Kea: awarded a new US patent based on AI
(CercleFinance.com) - Mauna Kea Technologies has been granted a new US patent for an artificial intelligence technology to enhance confocal laser endomicroscopy (CLE), significantly strengthening its intellectual property.
This patent strengthens the company's EVA (Endomicroscopy Virtual Assistant) portfolio, now comprising 13 patents, and aims to optimize the ergonomics and efficiency of its solutions, promoting their clinical adoption.
This innovation is supported by a partnership with V7 to develop annotated data sets.
. According to CEO Sacha Loiseau, this breakthrough consolidates Mauna Kea's position in the application of AI to cellular imaging, notably for the early diagnosis of pathologies such as esophageal cancer.
