Saint-Gobain: completes acquisition of OVNIVER Group

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain announced today that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of OVNIVER Group (Cemix brand), a leading player in construction chemicals in Mexico and Central America.


Following the acquisitions of Chryso, GCP and FOSROC (in progress), this transaction represents a further strategic step in the establishment of Saint-Gobain's global presence in construction chemicals. It will bring post-acquisition total sales in this sector to 6.5 billion euros in 76 countries (pro forma).

OVNIVER Group generated estimated sales of $285 million in 2024, with growth averaging around 20% per year over the last 5 years.

OVNIVER Group will be consolidated within the Americas Region.
