Alstom: invests in a new logistics hall in Hungary
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces an investment of 600 million HUF (nearly 1.
5 ME) in a new logistics hall at its Mátranovák plant in Hungary, as part of the 'Mátranovák 2030' development program.
The 827 m² hall is designed to support the plant's 40% increase in production capacity by the end of 2025.
Construction will start in spring 2025 and will be completed within a year.
The Mátranovák plant will thus become Alstom's largest bogie frame manufacturing site in Europe, contributing to Hungarian exports and supplying products for trains in Europe, including for MÁV, MÁV-HÉV and BKV.
