JPMorgan Chase: Daniel Pinto to step down as COO
(CercleFinance.com) - JPMorgan Chase announced on Tuesday the appointment of Jennifer Piepszak as Chief Operating Officer (COO), a position to which she will replace Daniel Pinto, who will leave the US investment bank at the end of 2026 after more than 40 years with the firm.
The executive will remain COO until June 30, to ensure an 'efficient' transition over the coming months.
Jennifer Piepszak, whose appointment is effective immediately, was previously co-CEO of the corporate and investment banking (CIB) arm.
In her new role, she will be responsible for activities relating to technology, operations, administrative matters, corporate strategy, diversity, equality and inclusion.
She will also oversee the operational centers on which the firm relies in India and the Philippines, which together employ over 80,000 people.
