Criteo: appointment of a new CEO
(CercleFinance.com) - Criteo announced on Tuesday the appointment of Michael Komasinski, an advertising technology specialist, as CEO, replacing Megan Clarken, who will step down next month after four years in the same position.
The online advertising group says that Michael Komasinski is currently managing director for the Americas of the data and technology activities of Japanese communications group dentsu. He previously worked at Razorfish and Nielsen. With a degree in engineering and philosophy from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, Komasinski has over 20 years' experience in the digital advertising industry, Criteo points out. Shares in the Nasdaq-listed French company were expected to rise by 1% on Tuesday at the opening of the New York Stock Exchange following this appointment.
